Remember what I wrote in my last entry about developing a "second self"?


Apparently, I have developed a second self. But there's one BIG problem...
     My SECOND SELF is beginning to love something else and it's not my work!


In the office, we have an artist come in who does the "artistic" stuff (Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, etc.) like layout-ing for flyers, brochures, posters, stickers, and a lot more. And I found myself interested in what she does. Even if she's in front of the computer everyday (since there are tons to do at work), I find what she does amazing. May be because I'm so not knowledgeable about Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, etc. 


Also, I'm going to be an entrepreneur soon. I told my mom that my sister and I want to have our own business someday ala Ishq or Ilaya or those small fashion boutiques located in tiangges. I thought she'd shrug it off since I was never interested in our family businesses but I was wrong. I was actually surprised that she responded positively. 


Now, I think everything's happening so fast. She told me think about the name of my business. But we made a deal --- THAT I WILL STILL PURSUE MY CAREER IN THE CORPORATE WORLD or ANY CAREER OUTSIDE OF MY BUSINESS.


Fair enough.
